BUTT Magazine Returns with Exclusive Support from Bottega Veneta

After a decade-long hiatus, BUTT magazine, a publication dedicated to queer communities, is set to make a highly anticipated comeback with the support of luxury fashion house, Bottega Veneta. The thirtieth edition of the magazine, known as BUTT 30, will mark its resurgence and will be endorsed by Bottega Veneta as the exclusive advertiser.

BUTT magazine was originally founded in 2001 in the Netherlands and quickly gained a loyal following. Now, it is ready to reclaim its spot at the forefront of LGBTQ+ culture and fashion with the backing of Bottega Veneta. Bartolomeo Rongone, the CEO of the fashion house, confirmed the launch of BUTT 30 on social media and announced that it will take place during the upcoming Paris Fashion Week.

To celebrate the return of BUTT magazine, an installation will be unveiled at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. This unique collaboration between BUTT and Bottega Veneta will showcase a specially designed architectural cell called “K67” by Slovenian designer Saša Janez Mächtig. The installation will be open to the public from March 3rd for three days, coinciding with the release of BUTT 30. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the magazine at the installation and also have the chance to acquire a limited edition “BUTT x Bottega Veneta” stamped t-shirt.

The revival of BUTT magazine became possible largely thanks to the investment of Bottega Veneta, who will serve as the sole and exclusive advertising sponsor for BUTT 30. This partnership demonstrates Bottega Veneta’s dedication to inclusivity and the support of independent press. Notably, the fashion brand made headlines last year when it decided to withdraw from social media and focus on its own digital journal. Following its premiere at the Palais de Tokyo, BUTT 30 will be distributed on a larger scale at select physical and online retailers.

This exciting collaboration between BUTT magazine and Bottega Veneta signifies a significant moment in the world of queer culture and fashion. The anticipated return of BUTT will provide a platform for LGBTQ+ voices and perspectives, continuing its legacy as a crucial publication within the community.
