Burberry Launches Burberry Streets to Celebrate Modern British Luxury

Burberry has recently launched an innovative initiative called Burberry Streets, with the goal of celebrating the spirit of exploration and discovery in cities around the world. As part of its strategy to refocus on its British roots, the luxury brand is combining its forward-thinking vision with its rich heritage to bring modern British luxury to life in exciting ways.

The initiative will begin in London, a city renowned for its status as one of the world’s top fashion destinations. The Burberry Streets activation in London will feature immersive experiences, installations, and events that showcase the brand’s iconic trademarks, including its seasonal check in knight blue, rose print, and the newly redefined Equestrian Knight design. This timing aligns perfectly with the upcoming London Fashion Week and the various events associated with it.

However, Burberry Streets is not solely focused on fashion. The takeover will start at Norman’s, a popular cafe in North London known for its British cuisine. The cafe will undergo a transformation with the signature blue check, and it will host a special evening event on September 13th. Additionally, during London Fashion Week, a traveling Norman’s food truck will make appearances in key locations connected to the event, such as The Strand and Duke of York Square.

Symbols of the Burberry brand will be visible throughout the city. Bond Street and Piccadilly will proudly display flags featuring the new rose print, while videos from the Winter 2023 campaign will illuminate the screens in Piccadilly. The Equestrian Knight will also appear as chalk stencils on paths and in parks, showcasing the brand’s heritage in a creative and visually striking way. Even London’s iconic black taxis will be adorned with Daniel Lee’s English rose print, adding a fashionable touch to the city streets.

This exciting initiative coincides with the launch of Daniel Lee’s first collection for Burberry, Winter 2023. The collection is now available for purchase both in-store and online, marking a new era and creative vision for the brand. In conjunction with the collection debut, Burberry has also redesigned its webstore, offering customers a fresh and immersive online shopping experience.

After its London debut, Burberry Streets will continue its journey to Seoul and Shanghai in October, emphasizing the brand’s focus on the Asian market. By blending its British heritage with a modern and forward-thinking approach, Burberry aims to engage with consumers worldwide and establish itself as a leader in the luxury fashion industry.
