Italian luxury house Bulgari has partnered with the artistic director of Casablanca, Charaf Tajer, to reimagine their iconic Serpenti universe through a collection of accessories. Named Bulgari x Casablanca, this collaboration aims to showcase Bulgari’s leather goods segment by inviting the fashion brand Casablanca to put their unique spin on the iconic serpent emblem.
This partnership is part of Bulgari’s ongoing creative exchange series called “Serpenti à travers les yeux de” (Serpenti through the eyes of), which was initially introduced in 2017. The first launch, set to debut on April 20, draws inspiration from the world of tennis and will feature a reinterpretation of the Serpenti Forever model. This mini shoulder bag will be adorned with a serpent head, reminiscent of a jewelry box-inspired trunk from Bulgari’s Héritage line dating back to the 1920s.
Following a month later, a second collection will be unveiled, focusing on three bags that showcase the world of mosaics. While reinterpreting Bulgari’s iconic leather goods pieces, both collections directly reflect the DNA of Casablanca, the fashion brand founded by Charaf Tajer in 2018. It is worth noting that Tajer was also among the winners of the prestigious LVMH Prize in 2020, further highlighting his talent and contribution to the fashion industry.
