Brunello Cucinelli Reports Strong Revenue Growth in Key Markets for 2018

Italian luxury fashion house Brunello Cucinelli has announced a remarkable increase in revenues for the first nine months of 2018, showcasing its strong performance in key markets such as Asia, the U.S., and Europe. The company reported a substantial sales growth of €422.1 million, representing an 8.3% rise from the same period last year. When accounting for constant exchange rates, the growth figure reached an impressive 10.9%.

Specifically, the data revealed a revenue uptick of 5.5% in Italy, while Europe as a whole experienced a significant increase of 9.7%. North America saw a 3.3% advance, with a more substantial growth rate in comparison at constant exchange rates. The Greater China market witnessed a substantial surge of 29.2%, while the rest of the world segment also recorded a noteworthy growth rate of 9.5%.

Sales growth was evident across all distribution channels, with retail showing a 6.8% increase, wholesale monobrand experiencing an 11.2% rise, and wholesale multibrand sales growing by 9.5%. Despite not divulging specific profit figures, Brunello Cucinelli expressed satisfaction with its double-digit growth year-to-date.

The brand’s founder and CEO expressed delight in the company’s progress, highlighting the strong brand positioning and credibility it has established. With positive responses to its winter collection and heightened interest in upcoming summer designs, Brunello Cucinelli anticipates another successful year in 2019 with projected double-digit growth.

Operating globally with 100 stores under its direct operation and 27 monobrand wholesale locations, Brunello Cucinelli also boasts a presence in approximately 650 multibrand stores worldwide.
