Bottega Veneta Launches ‘Bottega For Bottegas’

Bottega Veneta has launched a new project called “Bottega For Bottegas” with the aim of showcasing Italian artisans. This initiative, presented through social media and a dedicated tab on the brand’s website, shines a spotlight on “Bottegas” – renowned manufacturers or companies known for their craftsmanship and commitment to excellence. To further elevate the project, Bottega Veneta transformed billboards and shop windows in Milan, the fashion capital of Italy.

For the first edition of “Bottega For Bottegas”, 12 artisans from the regions of the Companie, Lombardy, and Tuscany have been selected. These include Amatruda for stationery, Cantina Bisson for vineyard, Enza Fasano for ceramics, Gay-Odin for chocolates, Ginepraio Gin for spirits, Krumiri Rossi for biscuits, Pastificio Martelli for Italian pasta, Orsoni for ceramics and mosaics, Riso Pozzi for rice, Respighi Drums for musical instruments, Olio Vanini for olive oil, and Saponificio Varesino for soaps.

By leveraging its visibility and reputation, Bottega Veneta aims to promote the diverse aspects of national craftsmanship, especially during a time when smaller entities are facing challenges due to the pandemic. This initiative is reminiscent of other fashion brands such as Valentino and Fendi, who have also focused on promoting young designers and celebrating Made in Italy, respectively.
