Balibaris Appoints Julien Schneider as CEO

French premium menswear brand Balibaris has announced the appointment of Julien Schneider as its new CEO. Formerly the vice president of retail and digital in North America for Lacoste, Schneider brings a wealth of digital expertise and entrepreneurial experience to the role. He will be taking over from Nathalie Haddad, who has served as CEO since 2017, but will remain as an advisor and shareholder within the company.

Schneider, who identifies himself as a “typical customer” of Balibaris, intends to focus on developing the brand’s omnichannel strategy. His background includes positions at renowned companies such as Pixmania, CSI France, Lebara Mobile, and Fnac, where he successfully implemented various e-commerce strategies. Notably, at Lacoste, Schneider played a pivotal role in boosting the brand’s omnichannel presence.

Balibaris has set an ambitious goal of surpassing €50 million in sales and expanding its omnichannel commerce, which currently accounts for over 10% of its turnover. To achieve this, Schneider plans to introduce digital solutions, such as the use of tablets in boutiques, multiple payment options, and enhanced fulfillment services. The brand also unveiled its womenswear collection in October 2021.

Under Schneider’s leadership, Balibaris aspires to solidify its position as a leading player in the menswear industry and sustain its growth trajectory. By leveraging his expertise and focusing on digital innovation, the brand aims to become a reference point for discerning consumers. With its commitment to providing exceptional clothing and an elevated shopping experience, Balibaris is poised for continued success.
